Golf
Set in a picturesque valley, surrounded by vineyards & orchards, overlooking an unspoilt panorama of rolling hills & the deep blue sea, lays Minthis Hills 18 hole championship golf course. Its golf properties are nestled into the hillside providing points of interest, but not interfering with the beauty of the nature around.
The course enjoys a historical location, with the twelfth century monastery from where it took its name, in its midst. Its tranquil setting & mesmerising mountain views provide the perfect backdrop for a challenging game, with its fairways swathing through mature trees and water features.
At an altitude of 550 metres above sea level, it is a course for all seasons, enjoying cool breezes even during the summer. Designed by Donald Steele in 1994, it is the oldest course in Cyprus and is undergoing extensive enhancement by Mackenzie & Ebert.
Minthis Hills is a par 71 course in two loops of nine stretching over 5828 metres. It is a challenging yet fair course that suits all abilities and is renowned as the most enjoyable course to play in Cyprus. It is also walkable, although buggies are available for those who prefer it.
